Sadly, last weekend the results just didn’t go our way. On Saturday the men’s first team lost 22 – 45 against Teddington who finish top of the league with just one loss all season and we finished in 7th place. The Beef had an agonisingly close game at Lewes losing 22 – 23 which leaves their league hanging in the balance. The Beef currently top the league ahead of Ditchling on points difference but with Lewes in third with a game in hand against Horsham it can all change. On Sunday the women lost 17 – 10 to top of the table Battersea Ironsides.

This ends the league games for senior rugby but rugby continues… a whopping 14 of the women’s team are in the Sussex Women’s squad so they head off to play in that over the next 6 weeks and the men’s first team start on their RFU Pappa John’s cup fixtures. Kicking off on Saturday with a home game against Heathfield and Waldron. It is forecasted to be a sunny day so come on down to cheer them on.
