Hove Dominate Henley.

Yet another great Hove performance.

Less than 3 minutes from kick off Hove were already showing their dominance with Mel scoring on the wing, although no conversion it definitely gave Henley a shock and Hove a positive base on which to continue to build from.

Unfortunately at 7 minutes in Clive got badly injured and took herself off to hospital, she will be missed on the pitch for quite a while. Let's all hope she heals well and return bigger and better than ever.

The injury caused Blondes to switch from 8 to 10, with Becky coming on to fill the 8 position.
Despite the injury Hove remained focused and determined and 10 mins in Hove scored again with Temps converting for the additional points. Hove continued to apply the pressure with some lovely passages of play, at 24 mins after a great piece of support play along the wing, play was taken back in field, Hannah cut an awesome line and produced a beautiful off-load to Beth who dutifully scored, no conversion this time.

Less than 10 minutes later play moved across the pitch and the French Hove contingent linked very well on the wing. Play was brought back in, Hove 6 cut a great line to score under the posts, converted by Temps.

So at half-time with the score at 22-0, the whole front row was juggled about, Karin and Cally off, Simmo and K-Dogg on and Jordon alternating between hooker and prop dependent on whether it was a defensive or an attacking scrum. An unusual tactic which when applied well had the potential to cause real confusion and damage to the opposition scrum.

Back to the game, 6 mins after the break and a cheeky chip through, followed by some great handling from a number of players resulted in a try for Curtis which once again Temps converted.

After this Henley upped their intensity and pressure and despite Hove remaining solid in defence at 63 minutes the Henley pressure paid off and they finally broke through to score and convert the kick.

Hove didn't let this become a negative, and 5 minutes later their was a speedy chase up wing. Hove 6 come away with the ball, sliced through the defence to once again score under posts. With Temps off the pitch Molly stepped up and converted the kick.

Hove continue to attack with intensity and 3 mins after even more pressure down the wing they came close again, unfortunately no try this time though. Hove turned over the resulting scrum and attacked with Hove 6 and Juliette, supplying agonisingly close moments.
At 35 min after Hove scrum the ball is beautifully passed along the line to Sam. Who broke through to score, Molly steps up again no conversion this time.

At the 40 minute mark the ball once again goes down the line, Hannah revives gives a little show and go to score, a beautiful way to finish the match.
Final score 48 - 7
