Hove 2s name a strong team on their return to the Sussex Leagues
Having played last season in the Zoo League, there is a renewed sense of excitement within the squad about returning to the Sussex Leagues. With regular captain Johnny Orme-Williams out with a hand injury, tight-head prop Kip Wallace will lead the side out at Lewes. It's a strong looking pack with a number of that pack all having multiple first team appearances over the past couple of seasons.
Luke Buckton-Taylor and Louis Medhurst in the back row and Danny O'Connor at scrum half are rewarded for their strong showings in pre-season with starting places in their senior league debuts for Hove. There is a Parker/Parker combination in the midfield as Alex lines up at 10 and Ash starts at 12. Between them they'll be looking to release the very pacey set of outside backs.
On the bench, resident comedian and all-round short bloke Luca Marshall will play his last game at Hove (for now) before heading of to uni.
Kickoff is 3pm at Lewes Rugby Club.
