Hove name a strong squad of 28 to go to last season's divisional rivals
After both Hove and Chobham endured tough years and ultimately relegation from London 1 South last season, the two teams will be looking to gather some momentum ahead of their respective league campaigns. With Chobham going down to London 2 South West and us in South East, this should be a good test for the Hove squad off the back of last week's intra-squad fixture.
Martin MacDonald returns to lead the side after sitting out last week. Hove are very strong in the forwards with the majority of the pack that competed well last year available and boosted by the return of Charlie Watts and Reece Cavozzi to the club, as well as new faces Louis Medhurst and Luke Buckton-Taylor. With a few of last year's backs missing, there is a chance for new players to stake their claim ahead of the league season, with Danny O'Connor, Ash Parker, Ben Stephens and Harry Nelson joining the squad this year.
Kick-off will be 3pm at Chobham RFC and the game will be played in 4x 20 minute periods.
