As we head into the Easter weekend it seems the rain is back! I hope it does not ruin any plans you have for the Easter break. Thankfully the sun was out on Sunday as we hosted our final mini’s tournament with the U11s. Great to see so many clubs represented, and I saw some excellent rugby being played. Thanks to all who have helped out running these events especially Josh for taking the lead.

On Saturday the men’s firsts had a close win up at East Grinstead 15 – 13 and their next league is on the 6th when they take on league leaders Teddington at home and the Beef are away at Lewes. There is a Sponsors Appreciation club lunch with a 1:30 start. The menu is Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast with Mashed Potatoes & Broccoli or Malloreddus pasta with Pesto Genovese & beetroot salad. Followed by Honeycomb Cheesecake or Cheese Board. There is a two course children’s menu available of Homemade Mac’n’Cheese and ice cream for £6pp. All welcome. This weekend the Vets are playing a touring team with a 12pm kick off so the club will be open but will be closed from 4pm for a private party. The club will also be closed on Easter Sunday.
