Hello,
It was great to see so many back at the club over the past two weekends, my thanks to all the volunteers who put in so many hours over the past few weeks to enable all this to happen. Thanks to Macca and Jack for leading on organising the intra-club touch matches on the 5th we hope to run another in early October, this time with more beer given how well everyone did on drinking the club dry! And congratulations to Nick, Richard, Dom and Kevin who had the unenviable task of making the arrangements so we could welcome all age groups back on the 13th, I only saw a fraction of the emails it took for them to reach the final pitch allocation to fit in all the teams plus the cricketers.

We will be constantly reviewing the process going forward to ensure we remain fully compliant with Government Covid laws and regulations and the RFU guidance. We ask for your patience during this time as all the volunteers at the club work out how to meet all the requirements and still provide safe and enjoyable rugby experiences. If you feel there are things that are not working, have suggestions on how to change things or want to step up and volunteer to help the club please get in touch with me.

Current RFU guidance does not allow changing rooms to be used so all players need to arrive in their kit and we cannot provide shower or changing facilities after training.

We know that some of you may now have children training at different times as we have had to split age groups up across the morning so that we can meet the RFU regulations on numbers players per pitch. We also have to limit the number of people we have in the clubhouse so we ask that if you can to remain outside and where possible keep children out of the club. Anyone in the club has to be at a table except when queuing to make a purchase at the bar or kitchen and need to respect social distancing at all times.
