The weather was kind to us this weekend as we opened the club to show off all the new kit and for club registration. If you missed out this weekend don’t worry Fiona will be back down on the 8th and 15th to help you battle through the ‘joys’ of GMS registration.

The senior teams have already started their seasons with a few friendlies. For the men’s teams a win against Shoreham last week and a close 31 – 29 loss against Sandown & Shanklin on Saturday sets the first team up for their first league game this Saturday away at Twickenham. The Beef and the Women have a few weeks until their first league games with the women away to Streatham on the 15th and the Beef start their season on the 21st away at Crawley. The women had a winning start in their friendly on Saturday beating Heathfield and Waldron 29 – 26.

As always it has been a busy summer at the club this year as we welcomed some new volunteers to the Executive Committee which is the group that runs the club. At the AGM we elected in a new Club Secretary Tom Ramirez. We also appointed a new Club President as Geoff stands down and Adam Tunesi take over.

This year it is not only the parents who have the joy of GMS to register with the RFU, as the RFU roll out adult registration details on how to do this are on the website Link.
