Saturday 27 Jan - 1st XV Men home to Trinity. Sunday 28 Jan - 1st XV Women away to Hampstead.

Hello,

After the weekend of bumper wins last weekend was a of a damp squib as both men’s games were postponed due to frozen pitches so no senior results to report this week.

On Saturday only the men’s firsts are in action with a home game against Trinity, the Beef have a free weekend. Hopefully some of them will be down at the club for lunch as the main course is roast beef with all trimmings, or the vegetarian option of roasted aubergine. Dessert is chocolate fudge cake with cream or a cheese board, cost £15. We will also be offering a two course children's lunch for £5 for any parents who wish to come along and bring the kids. Lunch will be served at 12:30pm before a 2pm kick off. To book message neil.parker@hoverugby.club by Thursday afternoon. On Sunday the women are away at Hampstead.

International Tickets

We have had four tickets available for the England away match against France in Lyon on 16th March 2024 returned to us. The tickets are priced at £97.00 each. To apply for a set of two or four tickets, which will be allocated randomly, please contact the International Ticket Coordinator, Neil Parker, on tickets@hoverugby.club by 2nd February. Please be aware that the match is in LYON, not Paris, in this Six Nations.

The quiz night on Friday is now sold out so looking forward to seeing those who managed to bag a ticket there.

After the Quiz night the next big event is the Volunteers Dinner on the 16th February, open to all who volunteer in any way and also anyone who is thinking of volunteering. A chance for the club to say thank you with a meal and a few drinks for all of us who spend our time keeping the club running. To book contact Dean on secretary@hoverugby.club.

A shout out to the crew who have stepped up to re-energise our social media presence. If you are not yet following us we are on twitter, Facebook and Instagram so please follow us. Thanks to Ian Saunders, Cat Ide, Chris Knott, James Finlason, Tyler Russel and Toby Brown.
