Saturday saw a thrilling match in the Papa John’s Cup, after a flying start by Hove and being up 17 – 0 in the first 20 minutes Heathfield fought back to equal the score at the end of t80 minutes 27 – 27 resulting in extra time being played. This time it was Heathfield who started stronger pulling out to a 27 – 37 lead. Hove fought valiantly to get to 32 – 37 but time was not on their side and the cup run is over.

The other match of interest on Saturday Lewes v Horsham also didn’t go our way with a 46 – 12 win by Lewes pushing them to top of the table, 2 points above the Beef.

With the mini’s tour taking place over the May Bank Holiday weekend the clubs end of season do will take place this year on the 28th April, with a BBQ and live music to keep you entertained. It would be good to see you all down to celebrate another action filled season.

We will be having another club town hall in May to seek the members views on the club direction to help develop a new five-year plan for the club and another date for your diaries is the club AGM on the 13th June.
