We have been informed that the funeral service for club legend Chris Basley is at Woodvale Crematorium North Chapel on Thursday 19th December 2024 at 2pm.

Chris Basley was a much-loved and cherished member of Hove Rugby Club, whose recent passing has left a profound sense of loss throughout the club. An instrumental member of the club, Chris dedicated many years of service, always going above and beyond to support its growth, success and bar sales! His commitment, warmth, unwavering enthusiasm and humour touched the lives of everyone around him, creating a lasting legacy. Chris will be sorely missed, not only for his invaluable contributions but also for spirit he brought to the club. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those at Hove Rugby Club.
