The Beefeaters travelled to Lewes on the weekend and went down fighting to the top of the league team.

The Beefeaters travelled to Lewes at the weekend where they faced the top of the league team, who have only lost 2 games all season.

The final score was 43 - 22, but i am told that it is a score that does not reflect the spirit and the fight that the beef showed throughout the match, only for penalties and errors to force themselves out of the game. A match report for the game will follow, once i have been sent it.

Coming up this week!

This weekend, our First XV will be travelling to the top of the league, Tunbridge Wells, which will be a hard match, but as shown earlier on in the year, when Tunbridge came to us, they can be shocked and points can be scored against them. Hove will need to sally up their defence and put in a good performance if they hope to come away with some points from this game.

The Beefeaters will be hosting Crowborough II at home as they look to get a win on the board after a string of disappointing losses. Crowborough are currently bottom of the league, and the beef will be looking to put in a dominant display over the East Sussex side to gain the bonus point victory.
